Where do I start? Aedan is my boyfriend and I’s dog that we adopted in April of 2010. He is like no other dog I have ever met, so we had to take him home. We rescued him from a city shelter, he was terrified of people and anything really at that point. He was so malnourished his ribs were showing and he was so scared that when he tried to bark nothing came out, there was NO WAY we could leave him there. He is absolutely gorgeous, with his big blue eyes and long German Shepard tail. We knew he was the dog for us, when as soon as we took him out of the shelter he jumped right into the front seat of my car and sat down ready to go home.

He LOVES the water. He will swim for hours and hours and usually we have to get in with him to get him out. He is extremely athletic, he now does Dock Diving, agility, and runs miles every day. He has more toys than any child I know, and if you have anything that squeaks…well you won’t have it for long.

After lots of training and getting him around people, he is still a little timid around men and very protective of us, but he has learned to play with others and he is a totally new dog.

Aedan also has more than just dog animal friends, he loves horses, sheep especially, and alpacas

.Aedan is my best friend, and I would do anything for him. He has changed the lives of everyone he knows, and he is more than I could have ever asked for.
