BABY DUCKS!

I typed in all caps because thats how cute they were. I love those days where you aren’t planning on taking any pictures, and a perfect moment comes up like this one. We were taking my dog swim at Pony Pasture and all these cute little baby ducks literally swam right up to us!

Strawberry Picking Season

Yes, its that wonderful time of year for strawberries! This was actually our first time picking strawberries! We went to the Chesterfield Berry Farm in Moseley, VA and picked the most wonderful perfectly ripe strawberries! Always a fun activity. They had a contest going on of whoever had the cutest baby picture in the strawberry fields would win a free season pass to pick pumpkins. I REALLY wish I had a baby with me!

So today I took Dylan out to Laughing Place Farm and gave him his very first lesson! Since we will be going to Montana this summer and riding I figured its about time he learned! He did really well, and he keeps asking me to ride again!

A Home Video of Our 2nd Year

So, lately I have become interested in making DVD’s. My cousin had United Wedding film her wedding, and the video they made was absoluetly STUNNING. It was like I was watching a real movie. I have been playing around making video/photo DVD’s complete with DVD tile menu’s and scene selections, so my first couple I did of each year I have been with Dylan. Unfortunatly you can’t see the DVD menu in the video, but its pretty cool. Here is the latest one I have finished…let me know what you think. And don’t make fun of me….im new at movie making!!

Sneak Peak of Rudy

Meet Rudy. He is probably the sweetest and well trained horse I have met. He is a new boarder at the barn, and he is known as the barn “cow”. He is the only paint! He retired from the Randolph Macon College riding team, and enjoying his elder ages playing in the field and being ridden by his owner and I. More pictures to come!
